Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Monday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Monday afternoon. The lower
than expected Corn Export Inspections caused pre-report positioning
ahead of Wednesday's USDA Crop Production report. Weak outside markets
combined with report anticipation pressured grain prices.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids 2 cents higher at 3.11-3.21. Soybean bids were 24 cents lower
at 11.26-11.45.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
2 to 5 cents higher at 3.11-3.24. Soybean bids were down 18 to 28 cents
at 11.05-11.28.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2 to 4 cents
higher at 3.16-3.34. Soybean bids were 20 to 24 cents lower at 11.00-11.48.
Wheat bids were 3 to 6 cents higher at 3.06-3.26. Milo bids were 2 to 4
cents higher at 2.64-2.74.

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country Elevators
after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
