Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, July 07, 2009

    Feed ingredient prices were mostly lower this past week.  There were a few
commodities that were in limited supply awaiting new crop availability.  Demand

was relatively light this past week.

Oilseeds:
  The July Soybean Meal July futures closed 31.30 lower at 381.00; Aug closed
22.30 lower at 352.00. The Aug Soybean Oil futures closed 214 points lower at
33.08 cents per pound; Sep closed 216 points lower at 33.23 cents per pound.
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 31.30 to 33.30 lower from
383.00-386.00; the basis was steady to 2.00 lower from 2.00-5.00 over the July
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady with a limited offer of 250.00

for July, however supplies were extremely limited in North Dakota-Minnesota
area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 10.00 lower
from 175.00-205.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil
was 219 to 244 points lower from 30.08-31.33 cents per pound; the basis ranged
175-300 points under the Aug futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 to 13.00 lower from 410.00-
422.00 for ruminant; pork was 430.00.  Yellow Grease was 200 to 250 points
lower
from 23.00-23.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 150 points
lower from 24.50-25.75 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 560.00-
575.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were mixed, 2.00 lower to 4.00 higher 73.00-85.00. The
Sacked
Bran was 10.00 lower at 225.00.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein had no quote.
