Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, June 30, 2009

    Feed ingredient prices were mixed this past week.  The market was unsettled

at the end as most companies were evaluating the stock and acreage reports that

were released on June 30.

Oilseeds:
  The July Soybean Meal July futures closed 23.80 higher at 412.30; Aug closed
12.70 higher at 374.30. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 191 points lower at

35.02 cents per pound; Aug closed 186 points lower at 35.22 cents per pound.
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 18.80 to 20.80 higher from
416.30-417.30; the basis was 3.00 to 5.00 lower from 4.00-5.00 over the July
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein had a limited offer of 250.00 for July,
however supplies were extremely limited; Aug-Sep had offers from 250.00-260.00
in North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein
was
5.00 lower from 175.00-2150.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil
was 191 to 241 points lower from 32.27-33.77 cents per pound; the basis was
steady to 50 points lower from 125-275 points under the July futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 15.00 lower from 420.00-
435.00 for ruminant; pork was 440.00.  Yellow Grease was 150 to 200 points
lower
from 25.00-26.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 175 to
200 points lower from 26.00-26.75 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to
10.00 higher, mostly steady from 560.00-575.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were steady to 3.00 lower from 75.00-81.00. The Sacked Bran
was steady at 235.00.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein had no quote.
