Bids as of 11:30 a.m.;   Subject to change

   Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during July by rail or
barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt.  Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as
specified.  All other wheat and barley bids are for full July delivery.
Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

   September wheat futures closed 5-1/4 to 10-3/4 cents per bushel lower
compared to Fridays closes.

   Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein and maximum 10.5 percent
protein, for July Portland delivery trended steady to three cents per
bushel lower in slow trading pressured by lower Chicago September wheat
futures.

   Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for July
delivery declined by eight cents per bushel in lining up with lower
Kansas City September wheat futures.

   Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for July
delivery declined by ten cents per bushel compared to Fridays
noon bids.  Bases remained steady and cash bids followed the Minneapolis
September wheat futures lower.

   Bids for US 2 Barley for July delivery were not available as exporters
were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

   Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 11-1/4 to 13-3/4 cents per cwt lower
due to the lower Chicago July and September corn futures.
