Portland Daily Grain Report
Bids as of 11:30 a.m.; Subject to change

Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during July by rail or
barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as
specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full July delivery.
Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

September wheat futures closed mixed, from 5-3/4 cents lower to 1-1/2
cents per bushel higher compared to Thursdays closes, with the most
decline in Minneapolis and the advance in Chicago.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein and maximum 10.5 percent
protein, for July Portland delivery trended two to five cents per
bushel higher compared to Thursdays noon bids.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for July
delivery trended two to three cents per bushel higher than Thursdays
noon bids. Higher basis bids by some exporters were supportive to bids,
although Kansas City September wheat futures closed lower.

Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for July
delivery declined by one to six cents per bushel compared to Fridays
noon bids. Lower Minneapolis September wheat futures pressured bids,
while some exporters raised their basis which tempered declines.

Bids for US 2 Barley for July delivery were not available as exporters
were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 2-1/2 to 3-3/4 cents per cwt higher
due to the higher Chicago July and September corn futures.
