Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Wednesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Wednesday afternoon. Favorable
weather conditions were a negative factor pressuring corn and wheat values.
Soybean prices finished higher due to tight supplies of old crop soybeans.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids steady to 1 cent lower at 3.64-3.74. Soybean bids were 8 to 10 cents
higher at 11.73-11.86.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
2 cents lower at 3.69-3.84. Soybean bids were 5 to 8 cents higher at
11.77-11.94.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady to 1 cent
lower at 3.72-3.97. Soybean bids were 8 to 14 cents higher at 11.82-11.96.
Wheat bids were 4 to 7 cents lower at 4.30-4.45. Milo bids were 2
cents lower at 3.05-3.17.

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country Elevators
after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
