Bids as of 9:30 a.m.;   Subject to change

   Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during June by rail or
barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt.  Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as
specified.  All other wheat and barley bids are for full June delivery.
Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

   September wheat futures in midday trading trended 7-1/4 to 10 cents
per bushel lower compared to Fridays closes.

   Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein and maximum 10.5 percent
protein, for June Portland delivery were not fully established in early
trading but were indicated steady to five cents per bushel higher than
Fridays noon bids.

   Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for June
delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated
as generally 10 cents per bushel lower compared to Fridays noon bids in
lining up with the lower Kansas City September wheat futures in early
trading.

   Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for June
delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids trended
generally seven cents per bushel lower in following the lower Minneapolis
September wheat futures.

   Bids for US 2 barley for June delivery were not available.

   Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 25 cents per cwt lower than Fridays
noon bids.  Lower Chicago July corn futures weighed on cash corn bids in
early trading.
