Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. Bids for 14 percent protein dark northern spring wheat are split for June 19-20 delivery and June 21-30 delivery. All other wheat and barley bids are for full June delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery. July wheat futures in midday trading trended mixed, 5-1/4 cents per bushel lower to up 1-3/4 cents per bushel higher compared to Thursdays closes. Minneapolis September wheat futures were 4-1/4 cents lower. Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein and maximum 10.5 percent protein, for June Portland delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated steady to eight cents per bushel higher than Thursdays noon bids. Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for June delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated as steady to five cents per bushel lower compared to Thursdays noon bids. Lower Kansas City July wheat futures in early trading weighed on bids. Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for June delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids trended eight cents per bushel lower. Lower Minneapolis September wheat futures weighed on bids. Bids for US 2 barley for June delivery were not available. Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland via single rail cars trended five to 6-1/4 cents per cwt higher higher than Thursdays noon bids. Higher Chicago July corn futures and a higher basis bid by some traders were supportive to bids. Corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley trended five to 6-1/4 cents higher.
