Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, April 28, 2009

    Feed ingredient prices were higher this past week.  Supplies of most
ingredients were in extremely tight supply.

Oilseeds:
  The May Soybean Meal May futures closed 13.40 lower at 311.90; July closed
15.30 lower at 304.00. The May Soybean Oil futures closed 123 points lower at
34.90 cents per pound; July closed 124 points lower at 35.19 cents per pound.
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 13.40 lower from 303.90-
310.90; the basis was steady from 8.00-1.00 under the May futures. Linseed
Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 13.00 lower from 190.00-275.00 in the
North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein
was steady to 5.00 lower from 120.00-135.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area.

Soybean Oil was 123 to 144 points lower from 32.69-33.40 cents per pound; the
basis ranged 250 points under the July futures to 150 points under the May
futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 5.00 to 10.00 higher from 365.00-
375.00 for ruminant; pork was 425.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 100 points
higher from 23.50-24.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 125
points higher from 27.50-28.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to
15.00
higher from 550.00-575.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 lower from 80.00-95.00. The Sacked
Bran was steady at 235.00.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein was steady at 210.00.
