Bids as of 9:30 a.m.;   Subject to change

   Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during April by rail
or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt.  Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as
specified.  All other wheat and barley bids are for full April delivery.
Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

   July wheat futures in midday trading were 2-1/4 to 9-1/4 cents per
bushel higher compared to Tuesdays closes.  Kansas City May wheat
futures were two cents per bushel higher.

   Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein, for April Portland
delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated
as steady to five cents per bushel lower than Tuesdays noon bids.  Bids
for maximum 10.5 percent protein soft white wheat held steady with
Tuesdays noon bids.

   Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for
April delivery were not fully established but were indicated as generally
three cents per bushel higher in following the higher Kansas City May and
July wheat futures in early trading.

   Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for April
delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated
as nine cents per bushel higher in lining up with the higher Minneapolis
July wheat futures.

   Bids for US 2 barley for April delivery were not well tested.

   Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended steady to 1-1/4 cents per cwt lower
than Tuesdays noon bids in reaction to the fractionally lower Chicago
May corn futures.
