Bids as of 11:30 a.m.;   Subject to change

   Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during April by rail or
barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt.  Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as
specified.  All other wheat and barley bids are for full April delivery.
Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

   July wheat futures closed 7-1/4 to 11 cents lower compared to
Tuesdays closes.  May Kansas City wheat futures closed 10 cents lower.

   Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein, for April Portland
delivery were three to five cents per bushel lower than Tuesdays noon
bids.  Bids for maximum 10.5 percent protein soft white wheat trended
steady to five cents lower.

   Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for April
delivery declined by 10 to 11 cents per bushel compared to Tuesdays noon
bids in lining up with the lower Kansas City May and July wheat futures.

   Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for April
Portland delivery trended seven cents lower in lining up with the lower
Minneapolis July wheat futures.

   Bids for US 2 barley for April delivery were not fully established
as most exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

   Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 1-1/4 to 2-1/2 cents per cwt higher
than Tuesdays noon bids.  Fractionally higher Chicago May corn futures
were supportive to bids.
