Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, March 24, 2008
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted.*

    Feed ingredient prices were mixed this past week.  Demand was moderate at
best.  Attention was focused on the flooding in the Dakotas.

Oilseeds:
  The May Soybean Meal May futures closed 17.30 higher at 303.30; July closed
15.80 higher at 298.20.  The May Soybean Oil futures closed 196 points higher
at
33.27 cents per pound; July closed 197 points higher at 33.56 cents per pound.
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 5.30 to 7.30 higher from 300.30-

305.30; the basis was 10.00 to 12.00 lower from 3.00 under to 2.00 over the May

futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 185.00-275.00 in the
North
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was mixed,
10.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 120.00-140.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota
area.
Soybean Oil was 226 to 246 points higher at 30.27 cents per pound; the basis
was
30 to 50 points higher at 300 points under the May futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 to 15.00 higher from 320.00-
325.00 for ruminant; pork was 360.00.  Yellow Grease was 25 to 175 points
higher
from 15.75-16.25 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 50 points
lower from 17.00-17.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 450.00-
500.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were 1.00 lower from 67.00-74.00. The Sacked Bran was 10.00
Lower at 235.00.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein was steady at 210.00.
