Corn Belt Feedstuffs
Wholesale Bids.  Truck or Rail dollars per ton.

   Feedstuff prices were mix for the week.  Some ingredients were higher in
response to the higher grain, while others were lower on light demand.  Spring
is here and farmers are getting anxious to begin field work for the 2009
planting season.

   SOYBEAN MEAL:  48 percent rail was 17.30 higher from 306.30-317.30 per ton.
48 percent truck was 15.30 higher from 313.30-323.30 per ton.
   CORN BY-PRODUCTS:  Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was 5.00 lower
to 1.00 higher from 55.00-73.00 per ton; rail was steady to 7.00 lower from
63.00-85.00 per ton; truck was 3.00 lower to 2.00 higher from 77.00-100.00 per
ton; weighted average was 2.33 lower at 77.93 per ton.  Weighted average price
based on the movement volume by transportation method.  60 percent Gluten Meal,

FOB Midwest was 10.00 lower to 20.00 higher from 365.00-470.00, mostly 380.00-

450.00 per ton.  Hominy Feed, Central Illinois Point rail was steady to 50 cent
s
lower from 92.00-95.00 per ton; trucks were 1.00 lower to 2.00 higher from
95.00-102.00 per ton.  Crude Corn Oil was 50 cents higher from 29.50-30.50
cents
per pound.
   MILLFEEDS:  Chicago was 5.00 lower from 75.00-90.00 per ton; Buffalo was
2.00-5.00 lower from 68.00-80.00 per ton.
   DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS:  Eastern Corn-belt was 2.00-5.00 higher from
120.00-130.00 per ton; Chicago area was 5.00-9.00 lower from 111.00-125.00 per
ton; Lawrenceburg, IN was steady at 125.00 per ton; Nebraska was 2.00-5.00
higher from 122.00-140.00 per ton; Minnesota was steady from 120.00-125.00 per
ton; Kansas was steady to 2.00 higher from 125.00-130.00 per ton.  Iowa was
steady from 115.00-125.00 per ton.  Northern Missouri was steady to 5.00 higher

from 120.00-130.00 per ton.
   ALFALFA PELLETS:  Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were steady at 285.00
per ton; meal was steady at 289.00 per ton, with 1/2 percent oil at 292.00 per
ton, with 1 percent oil at 295.00 per ton.
