Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Thursday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were lower on Thursday afternoon. Soybean
prices were pressured by poor weekly export sales figures. A marketing
year low, weekly export sales for soybeans totaled 155,800 tonnes. Weekly
export sales for wheat were also lower than expected at 307,700 tonnes.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids 5 to 6 cents lower at 3.31-3.41. Soybean bids were 18 cents
lower at 8.32-8.50.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids
were 5 cents lower at 3.32-3.47. Soybean bids were 15 to 16 cents lower
at 8.42-8.52.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 5 cents lower
at 3.38-3.58. Soybean bids were 13 to 17 cents lower at 8.42-8.60. Wheat
bids were 7 to 8 cents lower at 4.00-4.40. Milo bids were mixed at 2.75-2.89.

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country Elevators
after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
