FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil reversed the gains made over the week to fall on Friday evening as traders

were bearish on slowing demand amid high palm stockpiles.

* U.S. wheat futures prices jumped 1.5 percent on Friday and posted their biggest weekly gain in

nearly four months, as traders positioned themselves ahead of a highly anticipated U.S.

Department of Agriculture November supply and demand report.

* Oil prices rose on Friday, finishing higher for the week and month as well, after another

decline in the U.S. oil rig count indicated domestic crude production could fall in coming

months.

MARKET NEWS

* Asian stocks dipped early on Monday following lacklustre Chinese data out over the weekend,

while the dollar remained on the defensive against the yen after the Bank of Japan's decision to

hold policy steady favoured the Japanese currency.
