FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures ended higher on Tuesday, reversing some losses from the morning

session on anticipation that tax levies from top producer Indonesia will soon be in place.

* Chicago Board of Trade wheat fell below $5 a bushel to its lowest in nearly a month on

Tuesday, under continued pressure from forecasts of drought-relieving showers in the U.S. grain belt.

* Crude oil futures rose on Tuesday on signs of falling U.S. oil production, weakness in the

dollar and tensions in the Middle East, particularly Yemen.

MARKET NEWS

* Asian share markets took a cautious stance on Wednesday ahead of an anxiously-awaited reading

on China's growth pulse, while the dollar nursed losses after a disappointing reading on

consumer spending nudged bond yields lower.
