FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures fell for a third day on Thursday to a near 2-1/2-month low as

estimates of a surge in crude palm oil production in the world's top growers increased fears

that supplies would overwhelm lacklustre demand.

* U.S. soybean futures fell on Thursday to their lowest levels in nearly six months after the

government lifted its outlook for global inventories slightly to a new record high.

* Oil prices rose on Thursday on strong German economic data and uncertainty about negotiations

on Iran's nuclear program, even as a strong dollar curbed oil's bounce a day after futures

tumbled 6 percent.

MARKET NEWS

* World equity markets rose on Thursday, led by European exchanges after stronger-than-expected

German economic figures and Greece's repayment of a 450 million euro loan to the International

Monetary Fund.
