Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Wednesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Wednesday afternoon. Corn
futures ended higher supported by an extended weather forecast. This
forecast would suggest the chance of frost for Tuesday and Wednesday of
next week for areas in the northern cornbelt.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were up 1 to 4 cents at 3.06-3.19. Soybean bids were mixed at 8.94-9.25.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were up
4 to 7 cents at 3.09-3.20.  Soybean bids were 1 to 2 cents lower at
9.13-9.28.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2 to 4 cents
higher at 3.09-3.24. Soybean bids were mixed at 9.14-9.36. Wheat bids were
4 cents higher at 2.54-2.98. Milo bids were mixed at 2.40-2.71.

after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
