[Dow Jones] Near-term momentum continues to suggest further easing of global wheat prices in second half of 2009, with seasonal low likely to be set in October-November as Northern Hemisphere harvest comes onto market, says Rabobank in monthly commodities report. Says little cause for optimism going forward, with burdensome fundamentals set to continue as the dominant factor. "Unless there is a major Southern Hemisphere production issue, there are few reasons to expect a rally in global wheat prices in late 2009 and 2010, with world stock levels building for the second consecutive season," report says. At 0236 GMT, CBOT December wheat trading 2.25 U.S. cents lower at $4.5650/bushel. (ANJ) Call us in Singapore: 65-6415-4083 E-mail: andrew.jones@dowjones.com
