Corn Belt Feedstuffs
Wholesale Bids.  Truck or Rail dollars per ton.

   Feedstuff prices were mix for the week.  Soybean meal continues to see gains

on very tight supplies.  The basis for beans is running up to 100.00 over the
futures price.  Some processors are talking about shutting down until new crop
arrives.  Wheat mids were lower as supplies are readily available.  Mills are
running at full capacity pressuring prices.  Dehydrated Alfalfa saw gains on
good demand.

   SOYBEAN MEAL:  48 percent rail was 3.70-5.70 higher from 421.70-431.70 per
ton.  48 percent truck was 14.70-28.70 higher from 421.70-451.70 per ton.
   CORN BY-PRODUCTS:  Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was steady from

40.00-53.00 per ton; rail was steady to 3.00 lower from 55.00-64.00 per ton;
truck was 3.00-4.00 higher from 64.00-83.00 per ton; weighted average was 38
cents higher at 61.91 per ton.  Weighted average price based on the movement
volume by transportation method.  60 percent Gluten Meal, FOB Midwest was
steady
to 10.00 higher from 465.00-525.00, mostly 500.00-525.00 per ton.  Hominy Feed,

Central Illinois Point rail was steady from 75.00-80.00 per ton; trucks were
steady from 80.00-87.50 per ton.  Crude Corn Oil was 100 points higher from
36.00-37.00 cents per pound.
   MILLFEEDS:  Chicago was 3.00-5.00 lower from 80.00-82.00 per ton; Buffalo
was
10.00 lower from 50.00-60.00 per ton.
   DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS:  Eastern Corn-belt was steady to 5.00 lower from
85.00-100.00 per ton; Chicago area was 5.00 lower to 1.00 higher from 80.00-
86.00 per ton; Lawrenceburg, IN was 25.00 lower at 90.00 per ton; Nebraska was
2.00-3.00 lower from 72.00-88.00 per ton; Minnesota was steady to 2.00 higher
from 70.00-75.00 per ton; Kansas was steady from 80.00-100.00 per ton.  Iowa
was
steady from 70.00-82.00 per ton.  Northern Missouri was 5.00-10.00 higher from
95.00-100.00 per ton.
   ALFALFA PELLETS:  Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were 5.00-10.00 higher
from 265.00-275.00 per ton; meal was 5.00-10.00 higher from 269.00-279.00 per
ton, with 1/2 percent oil from 272.00-282.00 per ton, and with 1 percent oil
from 275.00-285.00 per ton.
