Portland Daily Grain Report
Bids as of 11:30 a.m.; Subject to change

Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during September by rail
or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as
specified. Bids for 11.5 percent protein hard red winter wheat were
split for September 1-10, September 11-20 and September 21-30. All other
wheat and barley bids are for full September delivery. Bids for corn are
for 30 day delivery.

December wheat futures closed 10-1/2 to 16-1/4 cents per bushel lower
compared to Mondays closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat, any protein and maximum 10.5 percent
protein, for September Portland delivery trended five cents per bushel
lower than Mondays noon bids.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for September
delivery were six to 11 cents per bushel lower than Mondays noon bids in
response to the lower Kansas City December wheat futures.

Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring for September
delivery trended 11 to 16 cents per bushel lower compared to Mondays
noon bids. Lower Minneapolis December wheat futures weighed on bids,
although an increase in some exporters basis tempered declines.

Bids for US 2 Barley for September delivery were not available as
exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn were 21-1/4 to 25 cents per cwt lower
compared to Mondays noon bids due to lower Chicago September and
December corn futures.
