Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.

   Feedstuff prices were mostly steady to higher as compared to last week.
Soybean meal again was sharply higher on tight supplies and availability of
soybeans.   Gluten meal and Meat and Bone meal were also higher on good demand
and support from soybean meal.


   Soybean meal, 48 percent was 23.70-28.70 higher from 441.70-456.70 per ton.
Soybean hulls were unchanged to 15.00 higher from 95.00-120.00 per ton.

Hull Pellets were unchanged to 15.00 higher at 100.00-120.00 per ton.  41
percent Cottonseed Meal was unchanged to 15.00 higher 350.00 per ton.  21
percent gluten feed pellets were steady at 96.00-110.00 per ton.  60 percent
Gluten Meal was 5.00-10.00 higher from 540.00-560.00 per ton. Kansas Interior
millfeeds, Rail was 4.00 lower from 65.00-70.00; Trucks were 3.00-4.00 lower
from 78.00-83.00 per ton.  Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) truck was steady from

90.00-92.00 per ton; rail was steady from 85.00-86.00 ton.  Meat and Bone Meal

was 20.00 higher at 380.00 per ton.  Feather Meal was unchanged to 10.00 higher

from 565.00-595.00 per ton.  Yellow Grease was 50 points lower at 22.50 cwt.
Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal was 5.00-10.00 lower from 204.00-209.00 per ton; Sun-
Cured 15 percent pellets were steady from 158.00-188.00 per ton; Alfalfa Center

of NE pellets, 17 percent were 5.00-10.00 lower from 175.00-180.00 per ton; Mea
l
without oil was 5.00-10.00 lower from 179.00-184.00 per ton; Hay prices were
not
available.
