Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Thursday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Thursday afternoon.
For the fourth straight day, the USDA announced the sale of 165,000
tonnes of US soybeans to China. Old and new crop weekly export sales
for soybeans totaled 85,000 tonnes, with corn exports at 1.43 million
tonnes.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids steady to 2 cents lower at 3.09-3.17. Soybean bids were
mostly 31 to 34 cents higher at 10.29-10.54.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
down 1 to 3 cents at 3.07-3.17. Soybean bids were mostly 5 to 6 cents
lower at 10.22-10.37.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly 1 to 3
cents lower at 3.09-3.23. Soybean bids were mixed at 9.85-9.98. Wheat bids
were 1 to 2 cents higher at 2.75-2.88. Milo bids were steady to 1 cent
lower at 2.65-2.70.

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country Elevators
after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
